The Com-Pac Eclipse
The Com-Pac Eclipse is a 21-foot sloop designed for easy trailering and easy single-hand sailing.
The 21-foot Com-Pac Eclipse centerboard sloop is designed for easy trailering, with Com-Pac's easy-to-rig Mastendr system. This system allows for easy single-handed mast raising, allowing you to rig and launch within a few minutes of arriving at the ramp.
The Eclipse has a draft of only 1'6" with the centerboard up (5'2" with the board down), allowing it to enter areas that would be off-limits to many other sailboats. The open transom and stern boarding ladder allow for easy boarding and swimming.
Comfort Above All — And Easy Sailing
The Eclipse is designed for comfort and easy handling, not for racing — she's not a fast boat, but she'll get you there in style. The cabin includes 4 opening ports for fresh air and lots of natural light. The teak doors and teak-and-holly sole give the Eclipse a classical nautical feel. Abovedecks, teak cockpit coamings, a teak-and-ash laminated tiller, and a teak platform bowsprit further contribute to the Eclipse's nautical appearance.
The galley includes a sink and stove, with dedicated galley storage, and a hand pump draws water from the freshwater holding tank. An enclosed compartment is included for a marine portapotty.
With a beam of 7'4", the Eclipse is a roomy boat , with sufficient cabin space for longer cruises than would usually be undertaken in a boat its size. The v-berth and two cabin settees provide sleeping space for 4, and below each settee and berth is a large storage space.
